The City of Mandeville and the Old Mandeville Business Association (OMBA) present three festive events to toast the close of the year: Sips of the Season, A Christmas Past Festival and Winter on the Water, on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Friday, December 7, 5-9pm
SIPS OF THE SEASON STROLL
Grab your friends and join in the merriment of Christmas as you stroll Girod Street at dusk stopping in along the way to browse and shop local with our many wonderful merchants. Purchase a souvenir mug for $20 (advance sales only, available at Das Schulerhaus, Cameo, The Lemon Tree and K. Gee's Restaurant), and you'll get to sample holiday libations at 25+ establishments available at each stop. A CHRISTMAS PAST
Throughout Old Mandeville
All along Girod Street in Mandeville, find an old-time holiday atmosphere with arts and crafts vendors, food and beverage booths, Children's Village, train rides, live musical performances including a bell chorus, and pet adoptions to support the Northshore Humane Society.

WINTER ON THE WATER
Lakeshore Drive from Harbor to Gazebo
Rounding out the festive weekend, on Saturday evening, the annual Winter on the Water (WOW) at the Mandeville Lakefront begins with Santa's parade. The walking parade begins at 4:00pm on Lakeshore drive at the harbor and concludes at the gazebo, where Mayor Don Villere welcomes performers on the quaint stage, and then conducts the lighting of the beautiful lakefront live oaks. The event concludes with the annual boat parade. Remember to bring cameras for pictures with Santa!
