The 26th annual Slidell Heritage Festival returns this summer to Heritage Park on Saturday, July 1, 2023. This celebration of America's birthday features an evening of live music, great food and fireworks. Gates open at 4 p.m., music starts at 5:30, and fireworks start at 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and up, free for age 12 and under.
Food trucks will be on site, and beverages will be available for purchase. This year the festival will consist of music, food, crafts, children’s area, and a fireworks show! This year's music lineup will be announced as the event nears.
Presented by the Rotary Clubs of Slidell, in conjunction with the City of Slidell, the festival was established as a fundraising benefit, and over the past 26 years, more than $900,000 has been raised for the community. This year's recipients are: Community Christian Concern, Free Nola Inc., Slidell Women’s Civic Club, Scouts BSA Cypress District Troop 315 and the Slidell Police Association.
