Notes for Education Northshore presents the 6th Annual Slidell Jazz & Blues Festival on September 17, 2022, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on beautiful Bayou Bonfouca in Slidell's Heritage Park. Admission is $10 for ages 12 and up, under 12, free.
The festival presents live music by outstanding regional acts, as well as a kids' zone, art market, and of course, food and beverages by local restaurants. The entertainment lineup will be announced as the event nears.
The mission of the Slidell Jazz and Blues Festival is to promote and support Jazz & Blues in Southeastern Louisiana and the cultural, musical, and artistic enrichment of the Northshore community. Funds generated will support a local program called Notes For Education Northshore, which supports local music education and/or provides music grants or scholarships to local young musicians.
