Slidell Movie Nights 2022

Grab your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and head out to Heritage Park this summer for Slidell Movie Nights on select Saturday evenings. The movies, presented by the City of Slidell, begin at sunset, roughly 8:30 pm. Admission is free. Bring ice chests (and bug spray!) to the park to enjoy the free movies, and bring your appetite too, because concessions will be available for a nominal charge.

The 2022 summer movie series kicks off June 4. “We do try to pick movies that both adults and children will enjoy and that are appropriate for families to watch together,” said Alex Carollo, Director of the city’s Department of Cultural & Public Affairs.” If you want to know if a certain movie is suitable for your children, you can visit websites such as Kids-in-Mind and Common Sense Media for more information about the content in each movie.”

Slidell Movie Nights began as a Leadership Northshore 2014 class project and the City of Slidell continues this popular outdoor event for families to continue to enjoy each summer.

Slidell Movie Nights is produced by the City of Slidell Department of Cultural & Public Affairs with the assistance the departments of Parks & Recreation and Public Operations, and sponsorship by Slidell Cultural Season Sponsors.
