The Slidell Photo Club's annual exhibition returns to the Slidell Cultural Center at City Hall this spring with an opening reception on Friday, May 6th, from 7-9 p.m. The exhibit will be on display at the Center May 11-June 10, 2022. Gallery hours are by appointment only, Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Same-day viewings will be accommodated based on availability. The Slidell Cultural Center is located at 2055 Second Street, on the first floor of City Hall in Olde Towne Slidell. Admission is free.
ABOUT
The Slidell Photo Club focuses on learning from one another on how to use cameras, tips on how to make better images, and on good fellowship. The club is a member of the Gulf States Camera Club Council.
Membership is open to all ages and every level of experience. The members vary in both age and skill level. Members compete in Color & Mono, Nature and Photojournalism categories in digital format as well as prints for all four categories. The club meets monthly at the City of Slidell Cultural Center, 2055 Second St., Slidell. Mask required. The meetings are open to the public, so bring a friend, but only members in good standing may enter club competitions.
