The friends and volunteers of the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana invite the community to safe and merry Slidell's Bayou Christmas on December 17, 18 and 19, 2021 in Heritage Park, 6-9 p.m. each evening.
Slidell's Bayou Christmas is a yearly fundraiser for the Slidell Boys & Girls Club of Slidell and a gift to the Northshore community. SBGC is open every day, afterschool, and all day during the summer months, currently open with strict CDC guidelines. Earlier this year, when it was closed, the Club partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to feed those in the community experiencing food insecurity, for free.
For over 40 years, the nonprofit has provided youth in Slidell a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun, friendship, and high-impact youth development programs. Children receive a snack and a take home dinner meal daily. Participating families are very happy to have the Club open daily for their children. Priority programs emphasize academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Come join the fun while raising money and awareness for Slidell's Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana.
