The St. Tammany Crab Festival celebrates food, music and fun on the scenic shore of Bayou Bonfouca in Slidell for two big days. This year, the festival return September 10-11, 2022.
The Crab Festival is fun for the whole family, celebrating Louisiana’s succulent crabs and other aquatic delicacies reeled in from the bayous and the Gulf, and featuring some of greatest entertainers In Southeast Louisiana. Vintage car enthusiasts will marvel over the many classic cars, trucks, rat rods, motorcycles and other unique vehicles in Mr. Crab’s Car Show. And Cat’s Meow Fishing Charters will give tours of scenic Bayou Bonfouca.
And, last but not least, free carnival rides! Carnival entrance area is on Fremaux St. before the park entrance.
Personal chairs and umbrellas are welcome, but leave the coolers at picnics at home: no outside food or drink will be permitted. Parking is free, but space is limited. Shuttle service may be available; follow the event on Facebook for up-to-date information on all activities.
Single-day festival admission for ages 12 and up is $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Two-day festival passes will be available online in advance only (no gate sales). Children under 12 are admitted free. Purchase advance tickets at StTammanyCrabFestival.com.

The St. Tammany Crab festival was created in 2013 to promote awareness of the culinary value of Louisiana crabs and bring top-notch entertainment and other attractions to the Northshore. The event offers local businesses and nonprofit organizations opportunities to participate and market their products or services to a wide number of people, in addition to promoting St.Tammany Parish.
