The St. Tammany Parish Fair Association celebrates 111 years of St. Tammany culture in 2021! The fair opens to the public September 29-October 2, 2022.
Founded in 1910, the St. Tammany Parish Fair is held each year during the first full weekend in October to showcase local culture, promote economic development and nurture community pride with agricultural and horticultural exhibits, music, food, talent showcases, a rodeo, Fair Queen/Princess and Rodeo Queen pageants, and of course, the ever-popular Midway rides.

The fair begins on Tuesday for fair competitions*, Wednesday for livestock and exhibitor load-in, and is open to the general public that night for carnival rides. The full fair opens to the public on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with a parade through downtown Covington, starting on Jefferson Avenue and traveling to Boston St./Hwy. 21 and up Columbia Street, concluding at the fairgrounds at 1304 N. Columbia St. All are welcome to the opening ceremonies on the Main Stage at 11:00 a.m. The fair continues with open exhibits, performances, amusements and rides Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Exhibits remain open until 9:00 p.m.
From I-12, take US-190 (exit 63-B) north toward Covington. Continue on US-190 over the Hwy 21/Covington CBD overpass as Hwy 190 becomes Collins Blvd. Fairgrounds are to the west (left) of Hwy 190 between 33rd Avenue and Magee Street.
Walk-in entrance is at 1304 N. Columbia St., drive-in entrance on West Magee Street. Free parking is available inside the fairgrounds and surrounding neighborhood.
