The Exchange Club of West St. Tammany will host the 11th annual "Ultimate Tailgate Party" at the Covington Trailhead to kick off a winning football season for the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers and Tulane Green Waves--all while supporting two worthy organizations that provide critical aid to children and families of the Northshore.

On Saturday, August 26, 2023, tailgate BBQ, advocates and sports fans alike will come together at the trailhead, located at 419 N. New Hampshire St. in downtown Covington. There will be lots of food with the BBQ contest, live music by Four Unplugged, an online auction, and more. Details will be announced soon. Over the past 10+ years, the Exchange Club of West St. Tammany has given over $400,000 to the local community. When the whole community is impacted as it is this year, those less fortunate are impacted even more, especially youth. The Exchange Club’s Ultimate Tailgate Party is a fundraiser designed to fund programs that assist these youth, so more help is needed than ever before in the history of this event. Charities benefiting from this year's event include Youth Service Bureau's CASA program, Hope House Children's Advocacy Center, Just Love Your Neighbor.
