“The Bayou Lacombe Cardinals are a first class organization providing fans with an excellent product," says Lake 94.7FM Sports Director Mike Pervel. "Playing their home games at Lakeshore High School Titan Coliseum, the Cardinals play a winning brand of football in the Xtreme South Football League. Defensive Coordinator Gerrin Narcisse and some of his players appeared on Lake 94.7 and The Highway 104.7 during the season. I enjoy delivering the accomplishments of our former St. Tammany athletes who distinguish themselves with the Cardinals."
A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with ten coaches, fifty players and countless volunteers and fans (250+ per game), this community and family oriented organization offers mentorship opportunities for athletes, with veterans making up 20% of the organization. Some of the programs benefiting from the Cardinals' support include Lacombe's Easter Extravaganza, Back to School Bash, Spooktacular, and other events requiring the help of volunteers.
