Since 1983, Anne Dale's fine jewelry store has specialized in certified diamonds, engagement rings and original designs, and is known for extensive knowledge and attention to detail. The award-winning store sells diamonds, engagement rings, wedding sets, anniversary rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets and pearls, and also provides jewelry related services, including expert jewelry restoration, insurance appraisals and watch repair. Many of Anne Dale’s designs are inspired by her New Orleans family’s French heritage, father’s Sicilian roots and mother’s hometown New York City. The Signature Anne Dale Collection™ of original jewelry designs raise money, awareness and the spirits of people in need; each item comes with a short essay explaining the cause and inspiration. Anne is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America, a professional gemologist of the Columbia School of Gemology and the former Executive Director of the Gemological Association of Great Britain-America. She is a frequent speaker at jewelry trade shows on diamonds, has implemented diamond and gemology courses in private schools, colleges and universities throughout the United States, and as a fine jewelry appraiser, she is a federal expert witness for the Internal Revenue Service. Anne Dale developed a process to make the common Louisiana oyster shell into a gemstone – LaPearlite®. In August 2011 Dale’s discovery became the new Official Louisiana State Gemstone.
