Cafe Lynn serves a delicious French-Creole menu for lunch and dinner. Chef Owner Joey Najolia is a Slidell, Louisiana native and Delgado Culinary graduate who was classically trained in France while under the mentorship of Chris Kerageorgiou of the former La Provence Restaurant in Lacombe. Joey then worked under Chef Jonathan Wright at The Windsor Court Grill Room. Following Hurricane Katrina’s aftermath, Joey returned to La Provence as Executive Chef until 2007, when he opened Cafe Lynn Restaurant in Mandeville with his wife Brandi. Brandi’s restaurant background includes managing and serving at La Provence Restaurant (where she and Joey fatefully met); dining room Captain and trainer at Broussard’s in the French Quarter, and catering management throughout the Mandeville area. This husband and wife team's restaurant has consistently been among the top Northshore restaurants with a dedicated following, while Joey has enjoyed accolades from area food writers and recognition by entities in Louisiana's culinary scene. He was recently recognized in Country Road Magazine's 2020 Small Town Chefs Awards, which spotlights only three chefs each year across the Gulf Coast.
