Important historic site opened as nature park with interpretive trails, pavilion, frontage on Bayou Liberty. Land originally part of Spanish land grants, later hosted a trading post and was site of ferry crossing. The park is open 7 days a week from 7:30 am-4:30 pm. Located .8 miles east of Northshore Blvd. on Gause Blvd., Slidell. Admission is free.
