On the calm, clear waters of the Tchefuncte River. Includes 22 premium campsites, 59 improved campsites, and 20 unimproved campsites, numerous picnic tables, pavilion, playground and public restrooms.
Freshwater fishing on the Tchefuncte River yields bass, bluegill, white perch, and bream near the park area, and channel catfish, speckled trout and redfish where the river meets the lake. Crabbing in the lake and the river is also popular. Madisonville public boat launch, just two miles from the park, accesses the river and Lake Pontchartrain.
The historic Otis House Museum is on property and conducts tours by appointment.
