Water Recreation in St. Tammany Parish
There are many ways to enjoy the waterways of St. Tammany. Tubing and Kayaking are popular ways to see a part of the parish you don't see from your car or bike.
Standup Paddling is one of the newer sports to try and a fun way to explore St. Tammany Parish. Paddle the bayous, lakes and rivers and view wildlife, exercise and play on the Northshore. Enjoy guided trips down the Bogue Falaya and Tchefuncte Rivers and even into Lake Pontchartrain and the 1837 Tchefuncte River Lighthouse.
